General terms and conditions
for the Hiltl cooking studio

Enrolment

Enrolment

Enrol through our online course program by email. The deadline for enrolments is 3 weeks prior to the course date. Your enrolment will be confirmed by email. If the course is fully booked, you will also be notified by email in advance.

Payment of course fees

You will recieve a payment slip 3 weeks prior to your course. The payment slip also serves as confirmation that the course will definitely take place.

Number of places / taking place of courses

Courses are run with a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20 people. Places are allocated to the first 20 enrolments. «First come, first served»

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by email or over the phone.
Refund of course fees is as follows:

Cancellation Refund
Up to 7 days prior to course date 60% of the course fee
6 to 1 day prior to course date 20% of the course fee
On the course date no refund

We will need your bank details to pay refunds.

Courses cancelled by Hiltl AG

Your course fee will be fully refunded, if a course has already been confirmed to take place and is then cancelled by Hiltl AG.

Hygiene

All participants are required to where the Hiltl chef's jacket or apron and must at all times follow the hygiene instructions given by the course supervisor.

Insurance

We will not be liable for damages during courses and events. Participants must make sure they have sufficient insurance cover especially relating to accidents such as burns etc. You are entering the Hiltl premises at your own risk. Participants are liable to pay costs they incur by damaging infrastructure, fixtures and fittings. Hiltl AG will not be liable for theft or loss of property.

Changes to the program and fees

We reserve the right to make changes to the program, fees and the General Terms and Conditions.

Place of jurisdiction

All legal matters relating to Hiltl AG fall under Swiss Jurisdiction. The place of jurisdiction is the Canton of Zurich.
