A good start to your career with Job Caddie
For trainees with problems or young apprentices looking for a job there’s a new assistance program: Job Caddie.
Job Caddies are voluntary mentors from the business world. They’re part of effective networks and know the ropes in the job market. They are trained by the Job Caddie agency. Anyone who calls 079 377 77 44 or writes to mail@jobcaddie.ch, is invited to an initial interview. An appropriate Job Caddie is then assigned based on the industry and region. The service is free of charge; it is a pilot project of the Swiss charitable organisation SGG. Job Caddie is initially restricted to the greater Zurich area. Job Caddie is specifically not a job centre.
«I support Job Caddie because it motivates young adults to take individual responsibility and be willing to persevere in their career. "Rolf Hiltl, proprietor / managing director of Hiltl"
Pink Ribbon charity walk
As part of the Zurich Open women’s tennis tournament, the 2.5km Pink Ribbon charity walk for women takes place.
The intention of this walk is to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of breast cancer and to show support and solidarity to every woman affected it. The entry fee of CHF30 is donated entirely to the Swiss Cancer League. Apart from fantastic gifts from Clinique and Rosenkavalier and healthy food from Hiltl and Carpe Diem every walker receives a free ticket to the Zurich Open.
Haus Hiltl serves up free soup
Haus Hiltl was cooking and serving up soup for the Salvation Army at the Stauffacher in Zurich. They were supported by TV-personality Röbi Koller. This event was the finale of the Salvation Army's fundraiser.

«Table with heart»
Haus Hiltl donates vouchers for families and individuals on a small budget in cooperation with the «Foundation of Ecclesiastical Social Welfare Zurich» («Stiftung Kirchlicher Sozialdienst Zürich»).
The vouchers are handed out by Zurich advice centres with Christian backing to residents of the City of Zurich. Further information on the «Table With Heart» project is available from the Foundation of Ecclesiastical Social Welfare Zurich.
