In 1898, Ambrosius Hiltl founded the world's first vegetarian restaurant. Today Haus Hiltl is in its fourth generation and has become an established healthy-eating institution. In addition to the à la carte restaurant, the popular Hiltl buffet offers more than 100 homemade specialties, also available to take away.
With the Hiltl catering service, our two Hiltl takeaways (located in Jelmoli department store and in the Pflanzbar florist shop), plus two lakeside summer restaurants by the Zurichsee (at the bathing resorts Mythenquai and Kilchberg), we provide a wide range of vegetarian and vegan cuisine outside of Haus Hiltl.
